The Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End (Sōsō no Frieren) manga by Kanehito Yamada and Tsukasa Abe, which was previously on Twitter, made an announcement on Wednesday that it will resume serialization in the combined 37th and 38th issue of Shogakukan’s Weekly Shonen Sunday, which will be released on August 7.
After a brief one-month break that ended on April 24, the manga went on hiatus until May 15.
In April 2020, Yamada and Abe debuted the ongoing manga in Weekly Shonen Sunday. In addition, the show took a break in January 2023 before picking back up in March 2023. The first compiled book volume of the manga was published by Shogakukan in August 2020, and the thirteenth volume was made available on April 17. The manga has been licensed by Viz Media, who will publish the eleventh volume in English on September 10. Since the anime’s premiere, 7 million more copies of the manga have been sold. There are currently more than 17 million copies of the manga in use.
On September 29 of the previous year, a two-hour special for the anime Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End debuted.
