At its San Diego Comic-Con panel on Saturday, Udon Entertainment revealed that it had licensed the Mr. Mega Man (Rockman-san) and Little Mega Man (Rockman-chan) gag manga series by Yūshi Kawata and Yukito. The release of Mr. Mega Man is scheduled for December. The release of Little Mega Man is scheduled for 2025.
The Mega Man X DiVE Official Complete Works art book, which is likewise scheduled for release in 2025, has also been licensed by the firm. Additionally, it hinted at Mega Man Mastermix news.

Regarding the Mega Man license, Udon Entertainment sent ANN the following statement:

“UDON is proud to join with CAPCOM to announce that we have the master comic license for Mega Man! This announcement continues an over 20 year old collaboration between these two companies that add the Blue Bomber himself to an incredible comic roster that includes Street Fighter, Darkstalkers, Final Fight, and Rival Schools Comics. New comics materials will be created by various creators from the Mega Man franchise, including fan-favorite artists like Hitoshi Ariga and Jeffrey “Chamba” Cruz. Look for a more detailed announcement coming soon, including more news on Mega Man Mastermix.”
Relatedly, the Mr. Mega Man and Little Mega Man series have concluded. May 22 was the end of the former, and June 19 was the end of the latter. On August 2, Kadokawa will publish the third and last volumes of both manga series.

The first Mega Man game for the Nintendo Famicom was released by CAPCOM in 1987, marking the start of the Mega Man franchise (known as Rock Man in Japan). Since then, the franchise has given rise to a number of video games; the most recent in the main series, Mega Man 11, had its North American premiere in October 2018.

In September of last year, Mega Man X DiVE Offline—the offline version of the Mega Man X DiVE (Rock Man X DiVE) smartphone game—was released on PC through Steam, iOS, and Android.

Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection, a compilation of the Mega Man Battle Network 1-6 Game Boy Advance titles, was published by CAPCOM in April 2023 for the PC via Steam, Nintendo Switch, and PlayStation 4.

Along with numerous manga, anime, and OVA series, the brand has also given rise to an American animated TV series. In 2005, ADV Films published the OVA Megaman: Upon a Star. The MegaMan NT Warrior (Rockman.EXE) manga by Ryo Takamisaki was published by Viz Media from 2004 to 2008. The first two seasons of the anime adaptation, which aired on the Kids WB programming block, were also licensed by the company. The anime Megaman Star Force was also licensed by Viz.
